Job SummaryData protection is critical to maintaining the trust of our stakeholders and upholding our commitment to transparency. As a Data Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data protection strategies that safeguard sensitive information.Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing data protection solutions, including DLP, encryption technologies, and data masking/tokenization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of these solutions into our existing infrastructure.In this role, you will also develop and refine data protection policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with legal and compliance teams. This includes managing and optimizing data protection infrastructure, including Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and cloud-native protection services.You will participate in security incident response activities related to data breaches or data exfiltration events, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions as needed. Additionally, you will ensure data processing activities comply with global and regional data privacy regulations and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.The successful candidate will provide security expertise to development and operations teams on integrating data protection controls into new and existing applications and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:Design and implement data protection solutionsDevelop and enforce data protection policies and proceduresManage and optimize data protection infrastructureParticipate in security incident response activitiesEnsure compliance with data privacy regulations
