Real-time Environment ArtistryWe are seeking a seasoned Real-time Environment Artist to join our team. As an expert in crafting immersive worlds, you will leverage your skills in World Creator and SpeedTree to build photorealistic environments that transport viewers to new dimensions.Key responsibilities include:Create highly realistic real-time environments using Unreal Engine 5 for landscapes, vegetation, atmospheric effects, and lighting setups.Develop cinematic-quality lighting schemes suitable for real-time rendering, incorporating Lumen, HDRI, fog, volumetrics, and GI.Maintain realism across different lighting conditions, camera angles, and simulation scenarios.The ideal candidate has:3+ years of experience as an Environment Artist in Unreal Engine (preferably UE5).Expert knowledge of World Creator for procedural terrain creation.Strong experience in 3D vegetation modeling using software like SpeedTree for high-quality vegetation modeling and wind simulation.A deep understanding of real-time lighting, Lumen, HDRI setups, volumetric effects, and physically accurate rendering.A solid understanding of materials and shaders, especially for foliage, terrain, and natural environments.Additionally, a portfolio demonstrating high-level environment art and realistic simulations is required.To be considered for this role, the following qualifications must be met:Demonstrate expertise in creating photorealistic environments with full ecosystem world-building.Showcase proficiency in atmospheric simulation (fog, clouds, day/night cycles).Highlight experience with PBR pipelines, texture authoring, and environment art best practices.Bonus points if you have experience with Quixel Megascans, Gaea, Houdini, or other procedural environment tools, or background in cinematics or real-time filmmaking.
