This role is for someone who can see content everywhere , pick up a phone, shoot it, shape it, and ship it—fast. You should understand what makes people stop scrolling, what makes them watch, and what makes them share. About Clumsy Bumsy Clumsy Bumsy is a fast-growing D2C startup building fresh, honest food for cats. Social media is not a branding exercise for us—it's how the brand is built in public. You'll be part of the founding team , working directly with the founders to define how Clumsy Bumsy shows up online. The Role You will own end-to-end social content —from idea to upload. This includes: Visualising content ideas Shooting content (phone is fine, taste is not optional) Directing edits (even if you don't edit yourself) Posting, learning, iterating You are expected to understand what works on social right now , not what worked last year. What You'll Be Responsible For Visualising, shooting, and publishing short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats) Understanding what good editing looks like—even if you're not the editor Identifying and riding social media trends early Knowing which hooks stop the scroll and which don't Analysing what formats, sounds, and structures are currently working Identifying and collaborating with relevant influencers and creators Experimenting constantly and learning from performance Owning content quality, consistency, and creativity end-to-end What We're Looking For Content and creativity are your core skill—not an add-on Strong visual sense and instinct for framing, pacing, and storytelling Deep understanding of short-form video platforms Ability to spot trends early and adapt them authentically Clear point of view on hooks, formats, and creator-style content Comfortable working fast with minimal structure High ownership mindset—you don't wait to be told what to create This Role Is Not For You If You only repost trends without adding your own take You rely heavily on designers/editors to think for you You need heavy planning cycles to create You're uncomfortable experimenting publicly and failing fast Why This Role Matters Social media will define Clumsy Bumsy's brand voice, trust, and growth.
