ObjectiveWith strict adherence to the company's policies and procedures above all else, ensuring thatquality and accuracy remain paramount; To provide an efficient, fast and overall goodexperience to our authors, ensuring communication to authors is timely, friendly and helpful.Providing editorial support to authors and editors, such as assisting authors with queries andproviding guidance to editors with their decision making.Main DeliverablesEnsures the highest levels of publication ethics and integrity are maintained on theJournalStrong author service mentality, providing timely, friendly and professionalcommunication with authorsExcellent Editor support, providing help with decision-making and other queries• Responsibility for end-to-end submission, processing to production and peer reviewprocess• Prompt processing of manuscripts.• Collaborates proactively with the Executive Editor, Publishing Manager and other in-house colleagues• Keeps abreast of industry news and trends and uses that information to informJournal objectives and strategic decisions.Key Performance IndicatorsMeeting Journal KPIs including quality, time to acceptance, author satisfaction andresponding to queries within agreed timeframe. Skills• Excellent verbal, good typing and written communication skills.• Proficient in English.• Strong time-management skills.• Ability to readily adapt to changes in process and implementation.• Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet the needs of multiplestakeholders.The successful applicant will ideally have:• PhD or masters degree with relevant experience.• Relevant subject matter knowledge.• Publishing experience or a thorough understanding of the peer review process as itrelates to content in their subject area.• A complete understanding of best practice in research and publication ethics andintegrity.• A strong familiarity with the academic research community and relevantorganizations.
