We, at Datamatics, are looking out for experienced SQL Support Consultant with Development Capabilities professionals to join our R&A IT team.


Qualifications:

7+ years of proven experience in SQL Server development, including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

Hands-on experience in designing, scheduling, and supporting SSIS packages and jobs.

Proficiency in developing and supporting SSRS reports.

Solid understanding of database maintenance tasks and optimization techniques.

Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving database-related issues.

Proactive monitoring expertise with a focus on anticipating and addressing potential issues.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with end-users and cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

Develop and maintain database objects to support application functionalities.

Design, schedule, and support SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and jobs.

Troubleshoot and optimize SSIS packages for efficient data ETL processes.

Develop and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.

Collaborate with end-users to understand reporting requirements and implement solutions.

Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and optimization.

Provide timely support to resolve database-related issues, collaborating with development teams when required.

Implement proactive monitoring of database server activities, jobs, and performance.

Anticipate and address potential issues to ensure system reliability.

Monitor database performance and initiate optimization strategies as needed.

Identify opportunities for enhancing system efficiency and propose optimization measures.

Document SQL code, database designs, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications.
