We are looking for talented interior designers, architects, or design experts to join our pre-sales team and assist customers in creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Role Overview:

As a Pre-Sales Executive (Design Expert), you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting our showroom. You will play a key role in understanding their requirements, providing personalized design recommendations, preparing quotes, and facilitating store visits . This role blends interior design expertise with customer engagement and sales, ensuring clients receive the best home décor solutions tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Showroom Walkthrough

  • Greet and welcome customers at the flagship showroom, offering a premium shopping experience.
  • Understand client preferences, home aesthetics, and functional needs to suggest the most suitable furniture, upholstery fabric, rugs, lights, and accessories .
  • Guide customers through the showroom, explaining material choices, design philosophies, and craftsmanship behind each piece.

Design Consultation & Pre-Sales Support

  • Provide professional design inputs based on clients' space requirements, color schemes, and lifestyle needs.
  • Curate personalized product selections and suggest suitable combinations of furniture, lighting, and décor.
  • Assist clients in visualizing products in their space using mood boards, sketches, or digital tools.

Quotation & Sales Coordination

  • Prepare detailed quotes and pricing estimates based on client selections.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure timely follow-ups and order processing.
  • Maintain a database of potential clients and proactively reach out to schedule showroom visits.

Relationship Building & Lead Generation

  • Engage with interior designers, architects, and homebuyers to foster strong relationships and generate leads.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups via calls, emails, or showroom visits to convert potential clients into customers.
  • Participate in design events, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase Alankaram’s offerings.

Who Should Apply?

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field .
  • Experience: 3-8 years of experience in interior design, furniture sales, or luxury retail (freshers with strong design skills may apply).
  • Strong understanding of furniture, home décor, lighting, and space planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach .
  • Basic proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3D visualization tools (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations .
  • Passion for luxury furniture, home styling, and customer experience.
  • Willing to travel to the store location on daily basis.
