Role Overview

The Head of Business will oversee revenue generation, client acquisition, and team performance. This leadership role involves expanding Talhive’s market share internationally and within India, fostering long-term partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute growth strategies to achieve annual revenue targets of $1mn.
  • Client Acquisition: Build and manage relationships with key international and domestic clients, focusing on high-retainer and high-percentage contracts.
  • Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, particularly in international geographies like the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of business development managers to ensure alignment with Talhive’s objectives.
  • Revenue Optimization: Create pricing models and optimize client engagement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and high-quality placements.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular updates to the founders on KPIs, market trends, and business health.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 7–10 years in business development, sales, or leadership roles, ideally in recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition industries.
  • Skillset:
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools like HubSpot or similar platforms.
  • Exceptional networking skills, with a robust network of B2B and B2C clients.
  • Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Data-driven decision-making and excellent communication skills.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and proactive problem solver.
