Principal Associate – Securities Law | Tier 1 Law Firm | MumbaiRole Highlights:Advise a broad spectrum of intermediaries in the Indian securities market, as well as listed companies and their promoters, on complex regulatory and investor-related issues.Represent clients in contentious matters before the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT), including cases involving takeover code violations, insider trading, collective investment schemes, and fraudulent and unfair trade practices.Provide strategic counsel on compliance with securities regulations and assist in navigating high-stakes enforcement actions.Engage with regulatory bodies, leveraging prior experience advising SEBI and continuing advisory work with BSE.Lead client relationships while mentoring junior team members and driving knowledge development in securities law practice.Ideal Candidate:6–7 years of experience in securities laws, with a strong background in both advisory and contentious mandates.Prior experience representing or advising regulators such as SEBI or stock exchanges is highly desirable.Strong drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills with proven ability to handle high-value, complex matters.Ability to manage client relationships independently while contributing to the growth of the practice.Keen interest in securities litigation and regulatory enforcement with a drive to develop thought leadership in the field.Your privacy and the privacy of others are important.
