Job Title: Corporate Associate Department: Corporate Law / Securities Law Location: Mumbai Experience: 1–3 years Reporting to: Founder and Principal Counsel Key Responsibilities: • Assist in advising clients on regulatory matters under SEBI regulations, including ICDR, LODR, Takeover Code, Insider Trading, and Mutual Fund Regulations. • Support in drafting and reviewing corporate contracts such as shareholders’ agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts. • Provide research support and documentation for setting up mutual funds, AIFs, and assisting investment managers with compliance. • Conduct preliminary legal due diligence in M&A and fund structuring matters under guidance. • Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as SEBI and RBI for filings, clarifications, and responses. • Stay updated with changes in laws affecting capital markets, securities, and company regulations. • Draft internal legal notes, compliance checklists, and opinion briefs under supervision.
