This is a full-time role for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist at Waytowebs with 1+ years of experience.


Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Search Engine Marketing Specialist to manage pay-per-click (PPC) and Social Media marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing Pay-Per-Click media strategies, including campaign planning, budget management, performance analysis, and optimization. The SEM Specialist will also be responsible for keyword research, ad copywriting, and testing strategies to maximize ROI.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns across various search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) and social media platforms (Meta, , etc.).
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and optimize campaigns accordingly.
  • Write compelling and targeted ad copies for search engine and social media advertising.
  • Manage and optimize budgets and bids for maximum return on investment.
  • Monitor campaign performance and key metrics (CTR, CPC, conversion rates, etc.) and generate reports for management.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and other variables to improve campaign performance.
  • Stay current with PPC industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes.
  • Collaborate with other teams including SEO, content, and design to optimize landing pages for SEM campaigns.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • In-depth knowledge of keyword research, ad copywriting, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience with bid management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Social Media Ads).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SEO and Canava are a plus.
