Your work will include scientific illustrations, graphical abstracts, journal cover images, infographics, posters, brochures, and more.Responsibilities:Develop visually engaging graphical abstracts that represent the essence of a scientific study.Read and comprehend scientific manuscripts to extract key visual elements and concepts.Develop storyboards that outline the visual narrative, ensuring alignment with the scientific content and client objectives.Generate rough sketches to illustrate initial visual concepts, collaborating closely with researchers, writers, and clients to refine and finalize the visual representation.Review peers' and freelancers' outputs to ensure they meet client expectations and are delivery-ready.Requirements:Graduate or PhD degree in STEM fields, especially Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering.3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing, communicating science and complex research into visually engaging output.Advanced skills in Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).Creating 3D designs in Blender is an added advantage.Experience in scientific graphic designing, medical illustrations, journal cover designs, and graphical abstracts.Understanding of the scientific publishing and science communication landscape.Benefits of this role include:Collaborative environment with diverse team members.Opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic industry.Autonomy to work independently on projects.Professional development opportunities.
