Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:Ensure accurate tracking of materials throughout the warehouse.Maintain organized inventory systems for efficient stock management.Manage daily material consumption entries and update stock levels accordingly.Prepare and distribute stock reports to relevant personnel.Perform regular stock checks to prevent discrepancies.Coordinate with production departments to issue necessary materials.Develop and maintain knowledge of Tally ERP software for effective inventory control.Provide guidance and assistance to warehouse staff in carrying out their duties efficiently.Establish and maintain a safe and accessible storage environment for goods.Requisition supplies, materials, and equipment as needed to meet company requirements.Train and advise warehouse employees on materials handling procedures and equipment operation.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.Communicate with suppliers regarding shortages or damaged materials.Arrange for repairs of tools and equipment as necessary.Perform other job-related tasks of comparable importance and responsibility.Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels.Prepare purchase requisitions for stock replacement and contact suppliers for price information.Arrange stock according to established procedures and requirements.In emergency situations or when replacing outdated materials, suggest suitable alternatives from existing stock.Control and coordinate lending and renting of tools, equipment, and devices.Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure proper functioning of equipment and instruments.Operate equipment necessary for material handling, such as hand trucks, forklifts, and hydraulic platforms.Use office equipment like typewriters, computers, calculators, photocopiers, fax machines, etc.Record and track supply inventory, checking regularly for accuracy and completeness.Disseminate supplies to designated areas and secure status of each item.Coordinate with staff to identify future needs and requirements.Ensure fair labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.Determine items and quantities of stock to be purchased and maintained.Inspect received items against freight documents for quality and quantity.Resolve discrepancies by contacting vendors or requesters.Stock materials according to prescribed inventory systems.Count, weigh, and measure goods received or issued.
