Senior Technical Project Manager Job SummaryJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation, capable of managing a diverse portfolio of projects including CRM and ERP implementations, data analytics solutions, and custom software development.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple technology projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering through to deployment and post-launch support.Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.Manage and oversee project execution for diverse initiatives, including ERP/CRM system integrations, business intelligence and analytics platforms, and bespoke software applications.Serve as the primary technical liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams, translating business needs into detailed technical requirements.Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, while being adept at applying hybrid or Waterfall methodologies where appropriate.Monitor project progress using key metrics and prepare regular status reports for senior management and executive stakeholders.Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the technical architecture and strategy.Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in technical project management. They will have demonstrable experience successfully managing large-scale implementation projects for CRM, ERP, and Analytics platforms, as well as a proven track record of managing custom software development projects from concept to completion.Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong awareness of technology trends, a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and expertise in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Project will also be required.Required Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in technical project management.Demonstrable experience successfully managing large-scale implementation projects for CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) platforms.Proven track record of managing custom software development projects from concept to completion.Strong awareness of technology trends.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and expertise in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Project.Preferred Qualifications:PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.Prior hands-on experience as a software developer, business analyst, or solutions architect.A good technical background with a understanding of web and mobile application architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
