We are looking for a remote Sales Representative based in India to support and expand sales operations for the U.S. cannabis market. The role requires strong understanding of U.S. cannabis regulations, product categories, and B2B buying patterns. The ideal candidate is experienced in selling to U.S. clients, coordinating across time zones, and managing long-cycle B2B deals.Key ResponsibilitiesU.S. Market Sales & Lead DevelopmentIdentify and qualify U.S. cannabis industry prospects (dispensaries, wholesalers, cultivators, processors).Conduct outreach via cold calling, email sequences, , and industry platforms.Build and manage a strong sales pipeline aligned with U.S. compliance standards.Schedule and conduct virtual demos, product walkthroughs, and proposal presentations.Account Management (Remote)Maintain relationships with U.S. buyers through structured follow-ups and account nurturing.Coordinate with U.S. operations teams for sampling, fulfilment, and logistics.Track client needs, inventory cycles, and re-order patterns.Product & Compliance AwarenessUnderstand U.S. cannabis categories: flower, concentrates, vapes, edibles, extracts, topicals, etc.Stay updated on state-specific regulations, THC limits, packaging rules, and licensing types.Communicate compliant sales messaging and avoid regulatory violations.Cross-Time-Zone WorkflowWork during overlapping U.S. hours (CST as required).Manage CRM updates, follow-ups, and reporting aligned with U.S. business schedules.Support timely communication between U.S. operations, logistics, finance, and compliance teams.Sales Reporting & CRMMaintain accurate CRM entries.Produce weekly sales updates, revenue forecasts, and activity reports.Analyze objections, competitive landscape, and buyer behavior.Required Skills & Experience2–5 years of inside sales or business development experience serving U.S. clients.Experience in cannabis, regulated industries, or CPG sales is preferred.Strong communication skills (neutral accent, fluent spoken & written English).Proficiency with remote sales tools: Zoom, Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, .Ability to understand U.S. cannabis terminology, product SKUs, and compliance fundamentals.Consistent ability to meet weekly activity metrics and revenue targets.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience selling cannabis products, B2B marketplace services, POS/SaaS for dispensaries, or supply chain solutions.Familiarity with U.S. seed-to-sale systems (METRC, Biotrack, LeafLogix).Experience handling long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision-making."This role supports regulated cannabis operations in legal international markets (e.g., US, Canada). No handling or involvement with cannabis is conducted within India."
