Leading Production Support Specialist

Job RoleAs a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional application support to our web and Java-based applications.Resolve issues reported by users in a timely and efficient manner.Work collaboratively with the development team to identify and resolve functionality and performance issues.Develop and execute database queries to drive business insights.Apply effective problem-solving skills to identify and report bugs.Mandatory Skills:A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production support for Java applications.Excellent communication skills to effectively provide support to end-users on application-related issues.Strong knowledge of Java (7, 8, 11) and remote debugging techniques.Experience working with Linux and Shell scripting is highly desirable.Proficiency in code repository tools and databases such as Oracle, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.Understanding of microservices architecture and its applications.Knowledge of travel and hospitality domain is a plus.Familiarity with Weblogic, TomEE, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, Jasper Report Servers, and messaging services is required.Good To Have:Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technology.Background in Jenkins/DevOps and configuration management is highly desirable.The role is remote-friendly, but we do expect you to work from our Pune location if selected.
