Principal Consultant – Pricing Strategy

As we expand our impact, we are seeking a Principal Consultant with exceptional leadership, analytical expertise, and strategic vision to lead complex pricing engagements, mentor junior team members, and drive meaningful client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership Act as a trusted advisor for senior client stakeholders, defining and leading strategic pricing initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
Collaborate with C-suite executives to align pricing strategies with broader organizational objectives, including revenue growth, market penetration, and competitive positioning.
Advanced Analytics & Modeling Develop and oversee sophisticated financial and pricing models, leveraging tools like Excel and advanced analytics platforms to inform strategy decisions.
Lead the design and execution of conjoint analysis and other quantitative methodologies to extract actionable insights from customer and market data.
Project Ownership & Delivery Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely execution of high-quality work that meets client expectations.
Structure complex pricing problems into actionable workstreams, managing cross-functional collaboration among clients and internal teams.
Team Mentorship Provide guidance and mentorship to consultants and analysts, fostering skill development and driving a high-performance culture.
Review and refine deliverables, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment with Monetizely's standards of excellence.
Communication & Presentation Craft compelling presentations and reports, translating complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences, including executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, representing Monetizely with professionalism and confidence in all interactions.
Business Development Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including whitepapers, webinars, and workshops, to enhance Monetizely’s industry presence.
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, scoping engagements, and building lasting client relationships.
Desired Skills & Qualifications MBA from a top-tier institution with a focus on strategy, finance, or analytics.
Experience with a top-tier consulting firm is a must or inside a strategy / product marketing team of a software or tech company.
8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, management consulting, or SaaS-focused roles, with a proven track record of leading client engagements and delivering results.
Technical Proficiency : Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with conjoint analysis or other advanced pricing techniques.
Strategic Mindset : Ability to synthesize complex problems into actionable strategies with a focus on revenue and market growth.
Leadership Skills : Demonstrated experience mentoring teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Communication Excellence : Superior presentation skills, coupled with polished written and verbal communication.
Growth Orientation : A proactive approach to personal and professional development, with a vision for driving organizational success.
