High-Rise Quantity Surveyor (QS)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented High-Rise Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our high-rise construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates, managing contracts, and controlling project budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) for high-rise construction projects using industry-standard software and techniques.
- Analyze and estimate material, labor, and equipment costs, considering market fluctuations and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Assist with contract preparation and administration, including managing variation orders and progress claims.
- Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns, proposing cost-saving solutions through value engineering.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project costs, budget variances, and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all project-related costs and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, cost estimating methodologies, and relevant construction regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in high-rise construction projects.
- Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practices.
- Proven experience in preparing QTOs, BOQs, and cost estimates for complex projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
