About the Role

We are seeking an Impact Manager - India to lead the advancement of our sustainability agenda in India, with a particular focus on the social and environmental issues that are most important to our people; diversity & belonging, CSC Gives Back (philanthropy), environmental responsibility and health & well-being. This role will be the driving force behind local execution, ensuring that global strategies are effectively adapted and implemented in the Indian context.

The role will work in close collaboration with the global program managers in each area, ensuring alignment, consistency, and knowledge sharing across regions. The Impact Manager will also serve as the coordinator of employee champion and colleague resource groups in India, supporting initiatives around the four focus areas.

The Impact Manager - India will be part of the CSC Gives Back Philanthropy Committee and the local CSR Board, supporting budget functions, providing input on funding requests, and identifying new organizations and opportunities for potential support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local Program Implementation
  • Adapt and execute global strategies for environmental responsibility, CSC Gives Back, diversity & belonging, and health & well-being within India.
  • Design and deliver initiatives that reflect local needs and priorities while remaining consistent with global frameworks.
  • Develop annual plans for India, set measurable local targets, and track progress.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders in India, engaging and influencing them to actively support our impact agenda in India.
  • Employee Engagement & Resource Group Coordination
  • Act as the primary coordinator for India-based employee champion/resource groups (environmental, health & well-being, CSC Gives Back, and DEI-focused colleague groups).
  • Provide structure, guidance, and communications support to volunteer leaders, ensuring alignment with global goals.
  • Organize and deliver campaigns, workshops, and events to drive awareness and participation across India.
  • Collaboration & Alignment with Global Teams
  • Serve as the key link between India and the global program managers for each impact area.
  • Share local insights, successes, and challenges with global teams to help refine overall strategy.
  • Adapt global resources, tools, and messaging for the Indian context.
  • Partnerships & Community Engagement
  • Build relationships with local NGOs, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance the impact of CSC Gives Back initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR, Communications, and Facilities to embed sustainability and well-being into workplace practices in India.
  • Communication, Reporting & Measurement
  • Share India success stories with the wider organization through regular storytelling on CSC Central, Leader Wire and the Loop
  • Collaborate with marketing to produce a bi-monthly India Impact newsletter sharing our progress and upcoming initiatives
  • Provide and monitor local impact data and employee engagement results to global program managers for consolidated reporting

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, CSR or DEI as well as employee engagement programs.
  • Cultural awareness and strong understanding of India's sustainability, philanthropic, and DEI landscape.
  • Ability to confidently engage and influence senior leadership, building trust and alignment on key priorities.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating employee networks, volunteer groups, or champions.
  • Excellent communication, writing and engagement skills; able to inspire employees across levels and functions.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to connect local execution to global strategies.
  • Passion for sustainability, inclusion, and positive social impact.
