This centre has been developed with an international design vocabulary, while honouring the culture and spirit of India.Purpose of The RoleThe Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy, ensuring compliance and alignment with the overall business objectives. This role is instrumental in building and strengthening key relations, managing contracts and budgets, evaluating commercial negotiations, and working cross-functionally to operational efficiency and support strategic growth initiatives. Job AccountabilitiesEvaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure favourable terms and complianceIdentify new commercial opportunities to drive cost efficiencies and create value for businessManage contractual obligations, analyse commercial risks and devise mitigation plansAssess and ensure delivery of goods and services as per contracted termsMaintain and update contract database to ensure timely amendments and renewalsDevelop tiered based vendor database (L1, L2, L3) and identify potential new suppliers/vendorsManage contractual relations including onboarding, performance evaluation and issue resolution, if anyBuild and strengthen key relations to support business growth and bring operational efficienciesOptimise sourcing strategies ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness that meet business requirementsCreate Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely submission for paymentsEnsure all commercial activities align to internal processes, governance and regulatory requirementsDrive process improvements and standardization across commercial functionManage and monitor budgets, track expenditures and analyse costPrepare and present reports to key stakeholders to enable them to make strategic decisionsWork cross-functionally and align the commercial activities with overall business goalsAnalyse internal data and market trends to enhance commercial strategies for the businessEducation QualificationsBachelors degree in Management/ Business/ FinanceMBA preferredExperience8+ experience for a mid-size to large organizationEvents Production/ Entertainment experience will be an added advantageSkillsStrong commercial and financial acumenAdvanced negotiation and contract managementExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAttention to detailUnderstanding of regulatory and compliance requirementProficiency in SAP system
