Role Quality Analyst - Data TestingTotal Experience 5 YearsMandatory Skills PythonAdvanced knowledge of SQL queriesBig Data conceptsNoSQL databaseHive QLSpark QLData testing tools like DBT iCEDQ QuerySurge Denodo Informatica etc Linux or UnixMessaging Systems Kafka or RabbitMQ Location RemoteResponsibilities Selecting and integrating data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities Providing technical guidance for software engineers engaged in design coding reviewing and testing of enterprise software Collaborating with Data Scientists Data Engineers and Software Engineers to understand data and models for QA test development and validation Implementing ETL processes Monitoring performance and advising on any necessary infrastructure changes Defining data retention policies Collaborating with the recruitment team for hiring Requirements Experience creating detailed and comprehensive test suites using programming languages such as Python Experience writing complex SQL queries to extract or validate data Good understanding of Big Data concepts and NoSQL databases preferable Proficient in writing Hive QL and Spark QL queries Hands-on experience with data testing tools like DBT iCEDQ QuerySurge Denodo Informatica etc Good understanding of QE testing types for testing data quality Troubleshooting applications and rectifying problems at earlier stages involvement in defect life cycle management Ability to test software and conduct UAT with business users in an Agile manner Continuously automating to increase test coverage and efficiency Providing proactive and reactive support in deployments and production environments Hands-on experience with Linux or Unix Good debugging skills Ability to solve ongoing issues with operating the cluster Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources Experience with BI tools like PowerBI and Tableau a plus Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ Strong analytical and excellent communication skills
