Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Human Resources / Real Estate Industry Location: Mylapore, Chennai Experience Required: 5 – 8 years Industry Preference: Real Estate / Property Development / Construction Salary Package: ₹5 LPA About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Recruitment, Payroll Management, and End-to-End HR Operations, preferably within the real estate industry. The role requires a proactive professional who can manage HR processes efficiently while supporting the company’s growth and people strategy. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: - Manage the full recruitment lifecycle — sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. - Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and workforce planning. - Maintain a strong pipeline of talent through job portals, networking, and referrals. Payroll & Compliance: - Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.). - Maintain employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy. - Liaise with finance for timely salary disbursement and reconciliation. HR Operations & Employee Engagement: - Manage employee lifecycle activities — onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exits. - Oversee attendance, leave management, and performance evaluation processes. - Implement and support HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and welfare programs. - Ensure smooth HR audits and compliance with labor laws and company policies. Learning & Development: - Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs. - Support career development initiatives and performance management cycles. Key Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. - Experience: 5 – 8 years of HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector. - Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, and HR operations. - Familiarity with HRMS systems and MS Office tools. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
