Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Instruction

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as:
- Business Statistics
- Quantitative Techniques
- Operations Research
- Data Analysis using Excel/SPSS/R
- Statistical Decision Making
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching material, and evaluation tools aligned with course objectives.
- Conduct assessments, case study evaluations, and project-based learning sessions.

2. Student Mentoring

- Guide students in quantitative project work, analysis-based assignments, and research activities.
- Provide academic and career support related to analytics, research, and competitive exams.

3. Research & Publications

- Undertake research in statistics, data modeling, forecasting, or related areas.
- Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
- Encourage student-led research and interdisciplinary collaborations.

4. Academic Development

- Participate in curriculum development, syllabus reviews, and program outcomes.
- Assist in organizing workshops, webinars, and FDPs on statistical tools and methods.
- Contribute to accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC, NBA) and departmental reporting.

5. Institutional Involvement

- Serve on academic committees, examination panels, and quality assurance teams.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate quantitative approaches into interdisciplinary teaching.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education:
- Master's degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Quantitative Techniques / Data Science / MBA (with QT specialization)
- UGC-NET qualification (preferred)
- Ph.D. in relevant field (preferred or as per institutional requirement)
- Experience:
- 03 years of teaching or research experience
- Freshers with excellent academic background may also be considered

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong command over statistical and quantitative methods
- Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, SPSS, R, Python (for data analysis)
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for management students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and research
