About the Role Grade Level for internal use 05THE ROLES P Global Commodity Insights is seeking candidates for our Apprenticeship program within our Commercial New Business team This program offers a 12-months skill development in New Business Management team for Lead generation qualification activities The Apprentice will focus on Supporting the New business Team with lead generation cleanup ensuring all leads opportunities activities contacts customer analysis buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured THE TEAMThe team is composed of experienced sales professionals The RESPONSIBILITIES To support the New Business Team with lead generation cleanup Actively work on leads and qualify or reject them basis on interaction with prospects drive a healthy pipeline funnel that is characterized by strong velocity and volume Research for related customer market intelligence Geographic Whitespace analysis Reporting Monthly activity reporting with feedback on leads Ensures all leads opportunities activities contacts customer analysis buying cycle status are accurately and promptly captured Continuous learning to maintain a high level of relevant domain product knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with customers and prospects What we are looking For Bachelor s or Masters Degree with 0-2 years of experience in new business development Broad understanding of the energy commodity industry including understanding the personas of front mid and back office functions as well as analysts is preferred Strong Critical thinking research and problem-solving
