We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a proven track record of managing financial reporting and compliance. This role requires a proactive approach to financial analysis and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, preparing and submitting necessary tax returns.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and financial insights.
- Support the audit process by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation to external auditors.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or audit firm environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
