Principal Job Description

The primary objective of the Principal is to uphold a high standard of academic excellence.

This strategic leader will drive the school's improvement and development, effectively guiding and motivating staff according to the VIBGYOR philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operation :

  • Prepare and manage the School's Budget and P&L statement efficiently.
  • Ensure timely collection of Fees and monitor Fee receivables.
  • Optimize costs by monitoring vendors and other payments.

Academic Operation :

  • Maximize the utilization of Teaching Staff by providing necessary Workload (WL) and delegating additional responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations as per Board and internal processes.
  • Timely compliance with Board requirements.
  • Cordinated efforts with Government authorities and Boards.
  • Effective implementation of Curriculum and other activities as per guidelines shared by VERTEX team.
  • Efficient conduct of school events.
  • Manage PTA and Parent Engagement Activities effectively. Handle Parent concerns and feedback.
  • Conduct Teacher/Coordinator observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Send reports to VERTEX Academics as required.
  • Oversee Sports and Performing Arts.
  • Promote registration for Value Added services.

Admin Operation :

  • Coordinate and supervise administration activities.
  • Ensure proper audit and effective feedback meeting compliance.
  • Maintain all documents neatly and correctly by respective departments.
  • Active involvement in admission and marketing planning.
  • Participate in new project planning discussions with management.
  • Coordinate with departments for smooth school operations.
  • Suggest solutions regarding compliance to various authorities.
  • Notify Board and personnel of child abuse, neglect, or severe medical conditions.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and parents.
  • Guide Relationship Cell team to resolve parent concerns effectively.
  • Closed SRs within TAT.
  • Implement assignments as directed by the managing committee.

HR Operation :

  • Adhere to HR Policies maximally.
  • Recruit efficient resources within prescribed time frames.
  • Facilitate a conducive work environment to control attrition.
  • Induct teaching and non-teaching staff regularly.
  • Groom talents and train them for further responsibilities.
  • Handle Staff Grievance and organize Staff engagement activities.

Admission Management :

  • Plan LC analysis, retention, and Student Projection effectively.
  • Support RE team to meet admission targets for the academic year.
  • Lead the admission process at the center, highlighting VIBGYOR brand USPs to parents.
  • Train and mentor Relationship Cell team to achieve admission targets.

Desired Qualification :

B.Ed./M.Ed. in any specialization.
