The Upwork Bidder will be responsible for identifying and bidding on suitable projects on Upwork, developing proposals, and communicating with potential clients. The role involves researching and finding new opportunities, tracking bids, and maintaining records of project pipelines. This is a hybrid role based in the Mohali district, with the flexibility for some work from home. Qualifications - Experience in identifying and bidding on projects on Upwork - Strong proposal writing and communication skills - Research skills and ability to identify new opportunities - Familiarity with digital marketing and web development services - Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field - Experience in the Digital Marketing and Web Development industry is a plus Full job description We are looking for aSenior Upwork Bidderto strengthen our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in generating leads, winning projects, and building long-term client relationships on Upwork and other freelance platforms. This is a strategic role where you will act as the first point of contact with clients, craft compelling proposals, and drive business growth through consistent conversions. Key Responsibilities - Identify and bid on high-value, relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms. - Writetailored, high-converting proposalsthat highlight client needs and our value proposition. - Communicate effectively with clients via chat, messages, and video calls. - Understand client requirements thoroughly and suggestbest-fit IT solutions(Web Development, Mobile Apps, Digital Marketing, ERP, CRM, etc.). - Collaborate with internal technical teams to prepareaccurate project estimates and timelines. - Maintain and share regular reports on bids placed, responses received, and projects closed. - Work proactively to meetmonthly/quarterly targetsand contribute to overall business growth. Qualifications - 2+ years of proven experienceas an Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive. - StrongEnglish communication skills(both written & spoken). - Demonstrated success in writing winning proposals and closing deals. - Sound knowledge of IT services and digital solutions. - Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. - Flexible with working hours to align with different client time zones.
