Job Description - Product Manager.Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to oversee and enhance our Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS). The role requires strong analytical skills, MIS reporting capabilities, and hands-on experience with system configuration, UAT, and process optimization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Credit, Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery and performance.
Key Responsibilities
.MIS & Reporting
oDevelop, maintain, and automate dashboards and MIS reports for business tracking and decision-making.
oEnsure accuracy and timeliness of data across lending systems.
.System & Master Data Management
oHandle and maintain system masters related to LOS & LMS (products, parameters, policies, hierarchies, user roles, etc.).
oCoordinate with IT/Tech teams for configuration changes and ensure data integrity.
.UAT & Product Enhancements
oLead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades, new features, and bug fixes.
oDocument test cases, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.
oAct as the bridge between business requirements and technology teams.
.Process Optimization
oIdentify gaps and opportunities for process improvement within LOS & LMS.
oSuggest and implement enhancements to improve user experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.
.Stakeholder Collaboration
oLiaise with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal) to gather requirements and translate them into product features.
oTrain business users on new functionalities and provide ongoing support.
Key Skills & Competencies
.Strong understanding of Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems.
.Proficiency in MIS/reporting tools (Advanced Excel preferred).
.Experience in UAT, product testing, and business requirement documentation.
.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
.Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.
.3-6 years of relevant experience in Product Management, MIS, or Lending System operations (LOS/LMS).
.Prior experience in NBFCs, Banks
