Job Description

- Provide strategic leadership to the Property Tax teams in India, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the performance and scalability of teams, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are consistently met.
- Handle hiring, workforce planning, and resource allocation to optimize team capacity.
- Drive innovation by identifying and implementing process improvements, including automation initiatives.
- Act as the primary liaison with Avalara Property Tax leadership, representing the Managed Services function in strategic discussions.
- Foster collaboration between teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Mentor managers and foster a high-performance, innovative team culture.

Relevant Work Experience

- 10+ years of leadership experience in property tax, compliance operations, with a focus on strategic oversight and resource planning.
- Qualifications Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills Expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and operational scalability.
- Proven ability to implement process improvements and drive efficiency.
- Strong understanding of jurisdictional requirements in property tax compliance.
- Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with SaaS-based solutions or large-scale tax operations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaborative initiatives.

- Adaptability, problem-solving capabilities, and initiative.
- Ability to mentor and lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
