Job Description

Case and Project Management: Independently manage a portfolio of legal cases or projects from inception to completion. This includes setting strategy, overseeing research, drafting complex legal documents, and ensuring all deadlines are met.

Legal Expertise: Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients or internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal issues within their area of specialization (e.g., corporate law, litigation, intellectual property, etc.).

Mentorship and Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior legal associates and paralegals. They are responsible for guiding the professional development of less experienced team members and delegating tasks effectively.

Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. A Senior Legal Associate is often the primary point of contact for key clients, and they are responsible for managing expectations and ensuring client satisfaction.

Litigation and Representation: Represent the firm or company in court proceedings, negotiations, or legal hearings. They are responsible for preparing and presenting legal arguments.

Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the firm or legal department by participating in business development activities, such as networking, writing articles, and assisting with client acquisition.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all legal work and business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. They also play a key role in identifying and mitigating legal risks.
