Community Business, the leading organisation committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) in companies across Asia, is looking for a Growth & Development Manager. This is a full-time role, based in India and reporting to the Director of DE&I.

What You'll Do:

This role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Corporate Partner Solutions

- Provide insights from corporate partners and stakeholders to support internal teams in converting corporate partner requirements into proposals, deliverables, redesigns, revisions, and calibrations based on needs, feedback, and engagement.

- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with corporate partners.

Business Development

- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and selling opportunities for Community Business services. Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

- Prospect, acquire, and develop leads through various channels, including social media, cold calling, networking and referrals, cooperating with all Community Business programme teams.

- Identify strategic business initiatives such as partnerships, business expansions, and community engagements to enhance organisation's visibility in partnership with the leadership team.

- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with corporate partners to secure deals for Community Business.

Relationship Management

- Communicate proactively with programme teams and corporate partners to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across Community Business functions.

- Serve as the first point of contact for new business and corporate partner engagements.

- Ensure consistency among teams and make recommendations on the best practice around corporate partner relationship management approach.

- Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.

- Network with companies to promote Community Business' work.

Process Management

- Design and manage the internal business model for BD engagement with cross-functional teams to align efforts and maximise opportunities.

- Coordinate with programme teams to ensure timely deal closure and corporate partner satisfaction.

- Collaborate with the Business Operations Manager to optimise CRM usage.

Fundraising and Government Liaison

- Identify alternative funding opportunities and grant sources to secure additional resources.

- Collaborate with internal Marcom and Programme teams, to prepare funding proposals and presentations.

Other Responsibilities

- Deliver key Community Business programmes and workshops as required.

- Provide updates on key customer trends to the leadership team.

What You'll Bring:

Basic Requirements:

- Business development experience to identify leads and opportunities, build and develop corporate partner relationships and close deals.

- Ability to work in a client-facing consultative capacity to be able to create proposals that suit corporate partners' needs.

- Understanding of DE&I principles particularly within the Asian corporate context.

- Self-motivated & capable of performing under a dynamic and multicultural environment.

- Strong English communication skills - oral, written and presentation.

- Experience in facilitation and public speaking.

- Proficiency in various tools and platforms for effective online delivery (Zoom, Mentimeter, etc.)

- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

Preferred Requirements:

- Relevant qualification, certification or courses in DE&I, HR or related fields.

- Having a strong network of contacts in both the corporate and community sectors.

- Experience in DE&I or HR Consulting.

- Understanding non-profit sector and DE&I market.

- Experience in working for a sizable corporation/ organisation with stakeholders at all levels.
