Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales operations within an assigned region, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar industry, with a technical background preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to drive performance and meet business goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the sales team.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and processes.
Requirements
- Graduate degree; a technical background is preferred (e.g., Engineering or related field).
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
