Business Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

- Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and propose IT services and consulting solutions accordingly.
- Generate and qualify leads through online portals, networking, and market research.
- Conduct compelling product/software demos and presentations to showcase service capabilities, leading to solution-based sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical experts, to create sales collateral, case studies, and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Prepare business requirement documents and scope project deliverables for client engagements.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal writing, RFP responses, and contract negotiation.
- Work closely with the project and technical teams to ensure smooth on boarding and service delivery for clients.
- Perform competitive analysis, market research, and ROI assessments to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop sales strategies by identifying market gaps and customer pain points, offering tailored IT solutions.
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the company's service offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field (B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Tech, M.Com, MBA, etc.).
- Experience or knowledge of IT services, cloud solutions, software development, or consulting will be preferred.
- Excellent project management and client relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand IT products and services.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in defining business metrics and using data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Prior experience in IT sales, pre-sales, or business development is a plus.
