Role Overview:
We are seeking Business Development Interns who are exceptionally sharp, articulate, and driven to master the nuances of client acquisition. This role situates you at the core of our growth initiatives, providing immersive exposure to lead generation, outreach strategies, and client onboarding processes. You will collaborate closely with the business development team, gaining firsthand experience of how a dynamic digital agency secures and manages strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Outreach: Identify and research prospective clients across diverse industries. Curate targeted lead lists and engage decision-makers through cold calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns, establishing meaningful initial connections.
- Client Acquisition: Support the sales pipeline by coordinating discovery calls, participating in client discussions, and assisting in the preparation of tailored proposals. Develop the ability to position digital marketing solutions persuasively and strategically to prospective clients.
- Relationship Building: Serve as a primary point of contact for prospects, ensuring communications are timely, professional, and compelling. Manage follow-ups to maintain engagement and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience post-conversion.
- Market Research and Strategy: Conduct detailed analysis of competitors, market trends, and emerging businesses requiring digital marketing solutions. Generate actionable insights to refine outreach strategies and enhance client acquisition effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Partner with marketing and operations teams to align campaigns with business development objectives. Maintain meticulous records of outreach activity and provide structured progress reports to the BD team.
Requirements:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and client engagement.
- Strong interest in sales, business development, and digital marketing.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, CRM platforms, and LinkedIn is advantageous.
- Students or recent graduates in business, marketing, or related fields preferred.
