Job Description Job Title: Database Administrator (DBA) Location: HYDERABAD Exp : 5 Years to 10 Years About the Role: As a DBA at 84.51, you will manage and optimize databases that power our analytics and decision-making. You'll ensure our data systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing to support business and data science teams. Key Responsibilities - Manage Databases: Design, maintain, and support highly available databases for key applications. - Optimize Performance: Monitor and tune databases to fix slow queries and improve efficiency. - Ensure Security: Apply best practices to protect data and meet compliance standards. - Backup & Recovery: Create and manage backup and disaster recovery plans. - Collaborate: Work closely with data engineers, scientists, and developers to improve performance and support projects. - Automate: Use tools to automate database monitoring, deployment, and maintenance. - Document: Keep clear documentation of database systems and processes. - Stay Current: Learn and recommend new database tools and technologies. - Support: Provide advanced support for database issues and perform upgrades/patching. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 3+ years of experience as a DBA (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL). - 2+ years of hands-on Snowflake Administration (preferably on Azure). - Strong skills in SQL and scripting. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). - Knowledge of database architecture, indexing, and query tuning. - Familiarity with data governance (GDPR, CCPA). - Good problem-solving and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks). - Knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, SnowPro Administrator).
