Summary We are seeking an experienced Region Finance Manager to join GE Power Conversion and Storage Asia The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company s operations ensuring compliance with financial regulations developing and implementing financial policies and managing financial risks The candidate will work closely with the General Manager of GE PCS Asia to develop and execute the strategy We are looking for a candidate with a hands-on and proactive attitude who is actively involved in addressing operational initiatives and advancing strategic priorities to continuously improve the companys financial performance Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Region Finance Manager to join GE Power Conversion and Storage Asia The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company s operations ensuring compliance with financial regulations developing and implementing financial policies and managing financial risks The candidate will work closely with the General Manager of GE PCS Asia to develop and execute the strategy We are looking for a candidate with a hands-on and proactive attitude who is actively involved in addressing operational initiatives and advancing strategic priorities to continuously improve the companys financial performance Company GE Power Conversion and Storage is at the heart of electrifying tomorrow s energy GE Vernova s PCS business applies the science and systems of power conversion to help drive the electric transformation of the world s energy infrastructure We are helping to reduce emissions and advance the decarbonization of the world towards a more sustainable future In PCS Asia we serve specialized sectors such as Solar Mining Metals Marine and Power Utilities We aspire to offer outstanding solutions to our customers that include a world class Project Management Engineering Supply Chain and related Services We have various sites in the region including a factory in Chennai and satellite offices in Singapore Korea China and Australia Key Responsibilities Partner closely with the General Manager to continuously improve the company s financial performance with regards to Order Intake and Order Margins Revenue and executed Margins Gross Margin EBITDA and Free Cash Flow Oversee the financial operations of the company including budgeting three-year strategic plan and one-year operational plan forecasting and financial reporting monthly quarterly annually Proactively provide guidance and leadership to the management team with regards to operational topics as well as long term strategic areas and actively seek the closure of outlined action plans Active engagement and collaboration with the project management director and service director throughout the entire execution phase of our projects and services to ensure a timely and profitable completion revenue recognition and billing Focus on margin improvement- and productivity-initiatives across the entire value chain including commercial engineering supply chain project management and services Partner closely with the commercial director and service director to advance the company on its ongoing path towards profitable orders growth Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Ensure that the company s financial statements are accurate and prepared in accordance with accounting standards monthly close according to US GAAP yearly close according to local statutory regulations Manage the company s financial risks including overseeing the projects system business as well as the service portfolio including identifying and addressing areas of concern Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including banks and auditors Lead a team of approx 15 finance professionals across various sites in the APAC region Support the implementation of a LEAN- and continuous improvement-driven culture Requirements Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or related field Professional accounting designation e g CPA preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role Hands-on and proactive attitude willing to engage in operational topics Strong understanding of Brazil accounting principles financial regulations and tax rules Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proven track record of managing financial risks and implementing financial policies Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders If you are an experienced finance professional with a passion for industrial projects and a proven track record of financial leadership we would love to hear from you Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided No LI-Remote - This is a remote position
