Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Finance & Accounts
1. Accounts & Financial Reporting
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, General Ledger, Payroll, etc.).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Ind-AS and statutory audit requirements.
- Review and finalize MIS reports for management.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor actual vs budgeted expenditure.
- Implement effective cost control measures.
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax filings.
- Handle statutory compliance with ROC, RBI, SEBI (if applicable).
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
4. Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage fund flow, working capital, and cash flow.
- Maintain relationships with banks for loans, LC, BG, and other facilities.
- Monitor interest costs and optimize finance charges.
5. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
- Strengthen internal control systems and SOPs.
- Ensure timely closure of audits with no major qualifications.
6. Team Leadership
- Supervise & mentor the accounts and finance team.
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure timely deliverables.
- Support management in decision-making with financial insights.
Qualification
- CA Inter (mandatory)
- Preferable: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- Upto 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounts (depending on company level)
- Knowledge of Tally / SAP / ERP systems (Gofrugal)
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Banking & Compliance
