**About the Role**

The role demands strong leadership, hands-on management capabilities, and the ability to align business processes with company objectives. The GM/AGM will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations—covering production, quality, finance, HR, sales, and administration—ensuring efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth.

**Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Business Management**
- Develop and execute **short-term and long-term operational strategies** to meet organizational objectives.
- Drive **business growth, market expansion, and profitability** through efficient planning and execution.
- Set and monitor **KPI metrics** for operational, financial, and employee performance.

**Operational Oversight**
- Oversee **daily operations** across departments (production, procurement, HR, finance, and quality).
- Ensure compliance with **quality management systems, safety standards, and statutory regulations**.
- Streamline processes for **cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and waste minimization**.

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead, mentor, and guide **department heads and team members** to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of **accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement**.
- Design and implement **training & development programs** to enhance workforce capabilities.

**Financial & Resource Management**
- Prepare and monitor **annual budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation**.
- Identify opportunities for **profitability improvement and operational efficiency**.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure **cost-effective procurement and services**.

**Stakeholder & Client Relations**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with **clients, vendors, and external stakeholders**.
- Represent the company in **business meetings, negotiations, and client interactions**.
- Ensure **customer satisfaction** through timely delivery, quality service, and reliable support.

**Reporting & Compliance**
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to **top management**.
- Ensure compliance with **legal, regulatory, and company standards**.
- Drive **internal audits, risk management, and corrective action plans**.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field**.
- **MBA or equivalent post-graduation** preferred (especially for AGM/GM level).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum **5 to 10 years of proven leadership experience** in operations, production, or business management.
- Prior experience in **manufacturing, FMCG, water/food industry, or related fields** will be an added advantage.
- **Core Competencies**:

- Strong **leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving** skills.
- Excellent **communication, negotiation, and interpersonal** abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of **operations, production planning, supply chain, and quality management**.
- Proven ability to **manage budgets, optimize costs, and deliver profitability**.
