DESCRIPTIONAmazon is seeking a highly-intelligent high-judgment self-motivated and creative professional to help drive our media activities in support of our corporate communications goals The right candidate will be passionate creative strategic and a self-starter who s willing and able to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done They ll be excited about working with people across the Global Communications and Corporate Responsibility organization to create content which educates key audiences about important Amazon activities events and milestones and to amplify our PR efforts Key job responsibilities Lead proactive and reactive PR for Amazon Ads India Build a strategic PR roadmap for the team and own execution of the same Own and build a strong PR roadmap for the team including both organic and inorganic activities Work with the marketing team to identify and execute PR opportunities for various activities being executed Be responsive to identifying events occasions which provide Amazon Ads an opportunity to tell our story and work with various stakeholders to drive presence at such events Source create and publish timely content for various audiences to educate them about key Amazon Ads activities events milestones and PR efforts Work with various PR teams global and India to ensure strong compliance of all marketing collateral with the PR guidelines and drive necessary approvals within timelines Regularly track the impact of PR activities Track and provide insights which help sculpt and drive content moving forward Earn trust internally and externally with many different audiences and stakeholders About the team Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for all advertisers and agencies Our portfolio ranges from sponsored search display ads video ads ad-tech tools and insights With tailored solutions for all businesses we offer flexible pricing and buying models including self-service managed service and programmatic to help optimize digital strategies BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7 years of recent professional communications or public relations experience - Bachelor s degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience leading PR for a media business PR subject matter expert for India - conduct proactive and reactive media relations Demonstrated understanding of the media landscape PR channels across India Experience executing successful and complex media campaigns and events Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic international environment liaison with various IN and WW PR team Ability to manage multiple projects and issues at once part of dynamic team Understanding of India digital advertising ecosystem e g Google Meta Hotstar is preferred Strong understanding of measuring the impact and benefits of PR programsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process including support for the interview or onboarding process please visit for more information If the country region you re applying in isn t listed please contact your Recruiting Partner
