JobTitle Junior Engineer - DSD Are you in for a big challenge like contributing to the success of new global company Epiroc is a leading global productivity partner to the mining infrastructure and natural resources industries Epiroc stands for innovation commitment and collaboration which is the speed to market industry leadership the passion to help customers succeed and a close partnership for deep understanding of the needs We clearly aim to be our customers first choice With our new Digital Solutions Division we aim to transform the industry with our innovative products and solutions Be a part of the journey with this position Junior Engineer -DSD To maintain troubleshoot repair configure and handle the installations of DSD products on the underground machines and achieve the contract KPIs Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Epiroc code of conduct safety and quality guidelines Do the installation testing commissioning of the DSD products on the underground machines of different OEMs Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance Regular maintenance troubleshooting configuration and replacement or repair of the different components as needed during the operation Undergo regular training and learnings to upskill oneself in handling new products Maintain records and documentation prepare daily weekly and monthly reports Provide site manager with relevant data for customer meetings Daily as and when needed -site visit to underground is mandatory Debugging system behaviour and recording any findings Identifying and rectifying configuration issues Identifying and rectifying outdated firmware or hardware Running troubleshooting steps Reporting of any unsolved issues Running tests as recommended by Level 3 support Rectifying issues with Level 2 and Level 3 supporting remotely Resolve complex electrical and automation system issues effectively and efficiently Qualifications and Experience Diploma in Electrical Mechatronics Electronics Freshers or 1 year of working experience in heavy equipment or mining machinery Skills and Competencies Basic understanding of Electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems Willingness to work in underground mining environments and remote locations Strong learning attitude and adaptability Good communication and teamwork skills Familiarity with MS Office and basic reporting tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work Environment On site role at mining site Exposure to underground working conditions and rugged terrain Rotational shifts and extended hours may be required based on site needs Location India SK Mines Udaipur Why you should apply for this position We provide opportunities for personal and professional growth interesting tasks development programs and the ability to move to different positions Our employees like us there is a friendly atmosphere we work in pleasant and modern environment We give our colleagues the opportunity to uphold their own ideas There is a great learning experience due to the nature of the product involving high end technology boosting future career growth The position will be active for 7 days from the date of posting Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers and accelerates the transformation toward a sustainable society With ground-breaking technology Epiroc develops and provides innovative and safe equipment such as drill rigs rock excavation and construction equipment and tools for surface and underground applications The company also offers world-class service and other aftermarket support as well as solutions for automation digitalization and electrification Epiroc is based in Stockholm Sweden had revenues of more than SEK 60 billion in 2023 and has around 18 200 passionate employees supporting and collaborating with customers in around 150 countries Learn more at www epiroc com
