Overview: The Junior Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and services by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and processes. They work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, contributing to the overall success and customer satisfaction of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the development and implementation of quality management systems and processes
  • Conducting regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Assisting in the investigation of product or process non-conformities and implementing corrective actions
  • Participating in the development and review of quality documentation and procedures
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to implement and monitor quality standards
  • Performing statistical analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Assisting in the training of staff on quality procedures and best practices
  • Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to quality issues
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques
  • Exposure to quality standards such as ISO, AS9100, or TS16949
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
