We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to join our team as an HR Manager/Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition. The incumbent will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, ensuring that the university attracts and hires top talent for faculty, administrative, and support roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality faculty and staff.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
- Utilize job portals, professional networks, and campus hiring programs to source candidates.
- Maintain a robust talent pipeline for future university requirements.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, UGC norms and labor laws during hiring.
- Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process to provide a smooth experience for new hires.
- Develop and maintain reports on key recruitment metrics and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the education or service industry.
- Strong knowledge of MS office, Google tools, recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and university-specific hiring requirements.
