Company DescriptionAt Western Digital our vision is to power global innovation and push the boundaries of technology to make what you thought was once impossible possible At our core Western Digital is a company of problem solvers People achieve extraordinary things given the right technology For decades we ve been doing just that Our technology helped people put a man on the moon We are a key partner to some of the largest and highest growth organizations in the world From energizing the most competitive gaming platforms to enabling systems to make cities safer and cars smarter and more connected to powering the data centers behind many of the world s biggest companies and public cloud Western Digital is fueling a brighter smarter future Binge-watch any shows use social media or shop online lately You ll find Western Digital supporting the storage infrastructure behind many of these platforms And that flash memory card that captures and preserves your most precious moments That s us too We offer an expansive portfolio of technologies storage devices and platforms for business and consumers alike Our data-centric solutions are comprised of the Western Digital xc2 xae G-Technology SanDisk xc2 xae and WD xc2 xae brands Today s exceptional challenges require your unique skills It s You Western Digital Together we re the next BIG thing in data Leading campus recruitment and activities you will be responsible for developing and executing campus recruitment strategies to attract top talent from leading engineering and technical institutions across India You will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and campus stakeholders including career services offices student organizations and faculty members On-campus you ll be a brand ambassador for Western Digital aligning the company with strategic partnerships to help us attract a diverse pipeline of talent Your goal will be to build strong relationships enhance brand visibility and drive successful campus recruitment initiatives to meet the company s talent acquisition objectives Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive campus recruitment strategies to attract top engineering and technical talent from target universities and colleges across India Build and maintain strong relationships with career services offices placement coordinators faculty members and student organizations to facilitate effective campus engagement and recruitment efforts Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to identify hiring needs define internship and full-time hiring requirements and develop tailored recruitment plans for each campus Lead the end-to-end campus recruitment process including candidate sourcing screening interviewing offer management and onboarding ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage Work with the global university team to design and develop a globally consistent inclusive early talent program that is compelling and delivers a world-class experience to candidates and hiring teams Design and deliver a comprehensive Orientation Program aligned with Global best practices that equips interns and new college hires with Western Digital global culture and values Implement a globally aligned intern offboarding process incorporating global best practices and local requirements Manage campus recruitment budgets resources and logistics effectively to maximize ROI and achieve recruitment goals within established timelines and budget constraints Analyse recruitment data track key performance metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campus recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement Collaborate effectively as One team and take part in functional projects and initiatives Stay updated on industry trends best practices and competitor activities in campus recruitment and talent acquisition and leverage insights to continuously enhance recruitment strategies and processes Coordinate and participate in campus events including career fairs tech talks workshops and networking sessions to promote the company s brand culture and career opportunities to students Qualifications Master s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field with 6 -
