Paintshop Maintenance Engineer in Shutdown Maintenance Job Description Responsibilities/: System Expertise/: Offer professional technical assistance for all paint shop equipment and utilities, such as industrial robots, automated spray machines, pumps, filtration units, heat exchangers, and conveyors. Troubleshooting/: Identify and fix complicated mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with paint application robots, curing ovens, air houses, and chemical dosing systems. Chemical Handling Systems/: Keep the piping, filtration, and chemical dosing pumps used in the pre/-treatment and E/-coat tanks in good working order. Fire Safety/: In paint booths and oven zones, test and maintain fire suppression systems. Documentation/: Use the CMMS or a comparable system to accurately record all maintenance procedures, part usage, and system performance information. Soft Skills/: outstanding analytical, methodical troubleshooting, and problem/-solving skills. strong dedication to legal compliance and safety. Coordinating with Quality, Operations, and outside vendors requires effective communication.
