Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and light snacks while providing exceptional customer service The role ensures consistency in product quality cleanliness and adherence to brand standards Key Responsibilities 1 Beverage Preparation Prepare and serve coffee tea and specialty beverages according to standard recipes Operate coffee machines grinders blenders and other cafe equipment efficiently Ensure consistency in taste temperature and presentation of all beverages 2 Customer Service Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders Provide product recommendations and answer customer queries Handle billing payments and maintain accurate cash transactions 3 Hygiene Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area including workstations tables and equipment Follow all hygiene sanitation and safety protocols as per company and FSSAI standards Regularly check and clean coffee machines and tools 4 Stock Inventory Management Monitor stock levels of coffee beans milk syrups and other consumables Assist in inventory control and report shortages to the manager Ensure proper storage of perishable items 5 Teamwork Brand Standards Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth cafe operations Uphold the brand image through product quality service and personal presentation Participate in training sessions and maintain knowledge of new menu items or promotions Requirements Education 10 2 Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred Experience 1-2 years of experience as a Barista in a cafe restaurant or hotel Skills Strong knowledge of coffee brewing and latte art preferred Excellent communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Basic POS and cash handling knowledge Work Environment Fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment Flexible to work shifts weekends and holidays Job Type Full-time Benefits Provident Fund
