About the job Position: Sales Development Representative CTC: Up to INR 4.2 LPA per annum Annual Retention Bonus 10%. This is part of the above CTC and released on completion of one year. Subject to being on the payroll and not serving a notice period. City: Mumbai (in-office). Will involve travel. As a Sales Development Representative, this role will work closely with Management to drive business growth by identifying and generating new sales opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting outreach activities, and establishing initial contact with potential customers. Your primary objective will be to engage prospects, assess their needs, and schedule qualified appointments. The SDR Executive is a key contributor to the sales pipeline and acts as the bridge between marketing and sales. Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential customers and target accounts. Utilize various sources such as online research, social media, industry events, and databases to generate a list of qualified leads. Develop a deep understanding of the company's target market, products/services, and value propositions. Outreach and Qualification: Reach out to leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and other creative methods. Engage and follow up with prospects in meaningful conversations to understand their pain points, challenges, and business needs. Qualify leads by assessing their interest, fit, and readiness to engage in the sales process. Conduct initial product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of the company's offerings. Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with prospects, establishing rapport and trust. Maintain ongoing communication with leads to keep them engaged and interested. Provide accurate and relevant information about the company's products/services to address prospect inquiries and objections. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads. Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized and updated pipeline using CRM software. Track all interactions, activities, and progress made with leads. Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation, qualification, and conversion metrics to the sales management team. Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize lead conversion rates. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness. Seek feedback and coaching from sales managers to improve sales skills and performance. Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay up to date with sales methodologies and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any discipline. 0-1 year of proven experience as an SDR, inside sales representative, with a creative agency/production house/content company. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong phone presence and comfortable making cold calls. Persistence, resilience, and ability to handle rejection. Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and quotas. Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools will be a bonus. Ability to quickly learn and understand complex products/services. Strong organizational and time management skills. Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
