Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages teas and other drinks while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the cafe or bar area Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee tea and specialty beverages according to standard recipes Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently and accurately Operate coffee machines grinders blenders and other cafe equipment safely and effectively Maintain cleanliness of workstations tables and equipment in compliance with hygiene standards Refill supplies stock ingredients and ensure the availability of all necessary items during operations Handle cash POS transactions and billing with accuracy Educate customers about menu offerings ingredients and brewing methods when required Assist in opening and closing duties including inventory checks and cleaning routines Uphold company service standards and contribute to a welcoming environment Support team members and assist during peak hours Requirements Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role in hospitality Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques espresso machines and drink preparation Excellent communication and customer interaction skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards Flexibility to work in shifts weekends and holidays as required Education Experience Minimum HSC or equivalent qualification Certification in Barista Training or Coffee Art is an added advantage 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred Key Skills Coffee preparation presentation Customer service Hygiene and cleanliness Cash handling POS operation Teamwork and time management Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
