Job Title Barista Department Food Beverage Cafe Operations Reporting To Restaurant Manager Job Summary The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages and light snacks while delivering excellent customer service The role requires maintaining cleanliness following company standards and creating a welcoming environment for guests Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee tea and specialty beverages according to standard recipes Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide menu recommendations and upsell beverages pastries and food items Operate coffee machines grinders blenders and other cafe equipment safely Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the work area tables and cafe environment Handle cash and POS transactions accurately Monitor inventory of coffee milk and supplies inform the manager for replenishment Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards Support cafe operations including opening closing and restocking duties Requirements Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred Knowledge of coffee brewing methods latte art and cafe menu items is an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail with a passion for coffee and customer service Flexibility to work shifts weekends and holidays Basic math skills for handling cash and POS systems Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification in food safety or barista training added advantage Work Environment Standing for extended periods Handling hot equipment and beverages Team-oriented workplace Job Type Permanent Job Type Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
