Responsibilities of an executive chef include Delegating tasks Creating strategies for an orderly flow of operations Performing special tasks such as preparing specialty dishes Recipe costing and Monitoring overall food cost Menu creation Designing menus for daily operations and special events such as weddings and birthday parties Staff management Hiring training and motivating kitchen staff and creating weekly schedules Food quality Ensuring food quality is consistently high and that hygiene standards are met Inventory and ordering Maintaining inventory and ordering food and supplies from approved vendors Budgeting Organizing and monitoring budgets for the kitchen including food equipment and staffing Kitchen operations Overseeing the daily activities of the kitchen staff including sous chefs cooks and assistants Equipment Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is running efficiently and arranging repairs or new parts when required Communication Interacting with customers and participating in meetings with other management staff Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Schedule Day shift Fixed shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Ability to commute relocate Tinsukia Assam Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Bachelor s Required Experience Hotel management 10 years Preferred Work Location In person
