Job Profile Position: Business Development Engineer-Industrial Solutions Location: Thrissur, Kerala Industry: Material Handling Equipment / Industrial Automation / Engineering Solutions Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound Business Development Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our range of material handling equipment and engineering solutions, building long-term relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project cycle. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute the company's direct marketing and promotional activities. 2. Conduct direct sales with industrial clients from introduction and presentation to negotiation and order closure. 3. Follow up on quotations, tenders, and proposals to convert opportunities into sales. 4. Explore and develop new business leads across diverse industries such as FMCG, Food Processing, Pharmaceuticals, Cargo, and Energy. 5. Coordinate with the engineering team for technical proposals, site data, and customized client requirements. 6. Provide post-sales services, customer feedback collection, and coordination for project execution. 7. Maintain systematic documentation of sales activities, client communications, and project updates. Job Specification 1. Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Mandatory. 2. Experience: 1 to 3 years in B2B Industrial Sales or Technical Marketing preferred. Fresh engineering graduates with a strong technical and marketing inclination may also apply. 3. Basic understanding of material handling systems, conveyors, elevators, or related mechanical equipment. 4. . Excellent communication and presentation skills. 5. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability. 6. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 7. Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to travel extensively across Kerala.
