Job Description Job Reference # 318344BR Job Type Full Time Your role Your role Are you a Mainframe SME with hands-on experience on Mainframe Transaction & Messaging systems Are you proficient in the installation, maintenance, and setup of online infrastructure on the IBM Mainframe platform Do you have experience on establishing online transaction capabilities via CICS and CPSM and provide messaging capabilities through MQ At UBS, we re-imagine the way we work, the way we connect with each other our colleagues, clients and partners and the way we deliver value. We're looking for Transaction & Messaging SME to have the following Technical & Functional knowledge: - configuration and management of the online systems - 3rd level support for transaction and messaging products, including on call support - maintaining Software levels via the UBS Platform set process - support interaction patterns with distributed and cloud platforms using CICS web services, CICS REST API, and Distributed Kafka connectors - provide a single point of contact to the vendors for the software we support - provide solutions for Artefacts as code - work closely with CTO and application teams - lead/collaborate on projects related to the online environment - validate and implement new technologies to the online environment - use Gitlab to manage all Issues and EPICs - responsible for the UBS IBM MQ for z/OS and FTPS for z/OS infrastructure - ensure this infrastructure continues to run smoothly and maintains the highest availability during the upcoming integration activities - managing QMS, a UBS developed framework written in PL/1, which provides z/OS applications with an API interface to interact with IBM MQ for z/OS Your team Your team In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the Mainframe & Midrange Stream in Hyderabad, focusing on Mainframe and Midrange Journey in the area of Transaction & Messaging . You will also work with the wider UBS Mainframe elements in aligning some of our directive / policy and work with the Global team. Your expertise Your expertise - proactively maintain the MQ (for zOS) infrastructure to ensure continued high availability during the shutdown phase - avoid capacity problems that could arise from the progressive decommissioning of individual applications - carry out requested decommissioning tasks - implement change requirements due to the decommissioning of individual applications - analyze and eliminate unusual resource consumption - keep security up to date, including certificate handling - maintain the group mailbox - FTPS on z/OS - implement change requirements due to decommissioning of individual applications - certificate handling - maintain the group mailbox - QMS : implement the necessary adjustments for the shutdown phase at the request of the application - support the application in problem analysis with a focus on problems that occur during shutdown phase - maintain the group mailbox - strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities and attention to detail and ability to work independently About Us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
